Amazing comeback. Thought it was over at 2 - 0.

Rollie the Goalie stole quite a few games his first Lightning season and in the playoffs.

amazing when you get a goalie to steal games once in a while = playoff team! Roloson and bulin wall

He really did stand on his head a couple times. Hawks probably should have scored six tonight. I think he'll be the clear cut #1 after the Olympics, maybe sooner.

The first period was far and away the worst period of live NHL hockey I have ever seen. By both teams.

And Duncan Keith needs to stop shooting the puck right now. Please.

at least you managed to hit the 4x6, 12 times no less. how do you not even hit the goalie in 20 with Stammer and StLouis

Buffalo, Florida, and then Pittsburgh. Hopefully we can take the first two in this stretch and then wish for the best in the third.

Good goaltending helps. Tonight being the exception, the Lightning will win easily on most nights the goalie only lets in two goals. There's too much firepower on this team for that not to be the case.

Give Chicago credit. They did a good job of stopping the Lightning on the rush and blocking the Lightning's little chip-in attempts/shot attempts.

The only silver lining from the first was the Hawks D. Active sticks. Didn't seem like any Bolts could skate for more than 10 feet w/out having the puck poked away.

Looked like the Hawks really game planned for Stammer; the only time he really seemed like a threat was the power play in the third when he ripped a couple from his spot on the left side. That puckered up my butt hole a little.

Cooper's system seems to have stymied stamkos' game a little thus far. having said that, he still managed 2 assists. lets hope he lights it up the next few. he's overdue

I think it's early to say that Cooper's style has stymied Stammer's game so far. He'll get his chances. That line, as a whole, hasn't been able to generate much consistent zone time. That's not a systems issue. Once we see how they perform when in the zone, then we can start judging.

i suppose you're right but 4 shots and 0 goals for him in 2 is somewhat of a worry.. I'm just not sold on Malone on first line. he hasnt shown me that he deserves those minutes. i say we put Killorn or Purcell back up there

After looking good in the preseason, Malone's been pretty quiet through two games. To be fair, though, it's clear that Chicago and Boston both know how to play against 91/26. I'm going to give them some time against some less impressive opponents before I start asking for changes.

I still think Connolly would be a great fit on that line...

before the season more than a few were happy for him to bring a 7 rounder and a bag of pucks. what are your thoughts if theres more of the same from Bugsy?

There have been trade rumors surrounding him for a long time. Fact is, there just doesn't seem to be a deal out there for him.

Much more likely. Still, I'd give him time before doing that. Give it ten games. That's the magic number.

I've always liked Malone, and i hesitate to jump the gun on the guy but he has been Casper out there. his big hits and net presence havent even been there, his most valuable assets. those are big minutes to be wasting on him if he cant bring it more. im trying to remember chief or peckham saying his name just once so far but coming up short

Ugly win; take the 2 points and move on.

Nice to have a goalie steal 1 from time to time.

Malone just plain Sucks, like to see Connolly get a shot.

GO BOLTS!!!!
