They hate Phaneuf with a passion, but he would improve their team 200%. They don't have a stud #1 and there are only rare cases of defense by committee working out.

I don't feel bad for probably drawing a top 10 roster this week though. I have 100++ less points. I did my roster the day it opened and do any revisions and didn't even check to see if guys were healthy. I have Letang, etc.

Ranger leads the team in take aways and is 6th in give aways and is averaging over 20 min/game. he'll be a good addition.

Rielly could make a case to stay, would it be better to see him play 20-40 NHL games and spend a lot of time in the press box, or play the WHL all season and world Juniors? right now i vote keep him.

The main thing is just burning a year of RFA with Rielly. I'd rather do that at a later date when he's even more NHL ready.
