No, Reimer actually has a fairly accomplished resume, which makes it even more bizarre to invalidate his entire body of work.

The guy owns the franchise save percentage record and he's been made the goat here in two periods. At least he has shown himself to be a very good starter in his career.

Those are great. The goalie still needs to put up the numbers. Reimer still had to put in the .926 save percentage.

As they say, your goaltender is your most important penalty killer. Reimer contributed to the PK as much as anyone.
