3 games into the season.
Should have fired him during the off season.

I like how they fired the coach. No need to address the player issues. I will make a bold prediction and say they will have goalie issues, and once Meszaros and another dman get injured, they will have d issues.

I never thought size was the issue (before and now). Aggressiveness and energy was an issue.

Lots of teams employ an aggressive, hard hitting for-check without dressing giants. They also can sustain that style through 60 minutes. Our coaching staff seemed to reign in our guys.

Under AV, the canucks could never sustain pressure or a hard hitting style for the entire game. Hopefully now that will change.

No problem.

But I don't think we'll be needing a tie break this week

Just razzing.

Good match, Nucker. Your goalies killed you (Dubnyk ) , and a couple of my young players had big weeks—doubt they'll sustain it for long

- Fosco

First week is actually two weeks. Matches don't end until next Sunday.

I have a feeling they just divide the schedule up into enough "weeks" to not have games left over at the end?

I am starting to really like JT. In his post game interview he was talking about Stanton's pass up the middle in OT saying he liked his moxie to make a play like that instead of putting it off the boards and out? When I saw that play I loved it but all I could think of was how he was gonna be in the AV dog house and he was our next Ballard. I am so happy that idiot AV is gone. I know its early but I think things will be okay.

We'll see where they're at come the first week of November, by then they should have established what their season will look like....somewhat anyways.

No she was on the pacific buzzcast yesterday and if I remember correct she a couple other jobs on the go like bleacher report and some stat thing at the rink. So she is very involved in the Canucks scene. Which I think could be good for us.

First week started on a Tuesday or weds, so they made it a bit longer to not have a short week. Rangers only played 1 game.

Oh christ, nothing will get done. She'll be busy repairing her gum boots with bull kelp preparing for tonights drum circle & patchouli swap.

Yeah, I knew I shouldn't, but I started Reimer against the Sens. History was on my side, he was like 3-0 last season against them with a ridiculously low GAA. But he stunk it up and I went from up in all the goalie categories to only being ahead in W's
