Just wanted to point out that there are 540 posts in this thread and nary a troll. Seems like you don't actually have to write a bunch of trash in order to get hits, only engage the existing readers...
I would also add that had the Canucks lost 6-2 the thread would likely have been overrun by the likes if JLO and others. - 1970vintage
I'm starting to think Ian had something about him that automatically attracted trolls. He could just write Dubnyk and they would be all over this tread like a fat kid on a smartie. |

"They impress me everyday, they're creative...you just have to let them play. They've been impressive since Day 1" - Torts on Sedins - AlexF
Sedins have never been the problem in Vancouver. Sure they aren't the toughest guys but they are great players. They cycle like no one else. Eberle said he, Hall and RNH watched hours of film of them and try to emulate them. (Just need to get them back on a line together.....). I've always thought they were awesome players. The problem has been others on the roster. They'll get locked up for a while longer in Van i'm sure. |

Ian was a huge part of the problem. I've always thought most of you on here are pretty reasonable when actually discussing hockey and not dissing each other...Again....I qualify that with "most of you".... |

Flyers off to a 0-2 start, I wonder whats the over/under on Laviolette making it past 10 games. |

I wonder what the over under is for them actually getting a nhl caliber goalie. Homer has got balls but he isn't very bright |

Yeah I could have trolled last night and been a d!ck after a win like that but its not my style. I would rather talk about who when and where it went wrong or right for either team. Though it is fun to throw a jab in about Nuge's super manly shoulders here and there. |

I find it amusing that the big oilers trolls come on here after a blow out loss and try to be civil Yet if the oilers actually won a game would be here discussing how the canucks are crap. |

I think he is looking for something while Nuge and Gag are out. Having Hall a centre is stupid he is not a centre. He is trying to work with what he has. Energy players were spread out to much. |

Crazy talk. IMO Datsyuk's one of the best players in the NHL. If he could get his goal totals up he would be the best.
You can play him in any situation. Rare type of player. |

I agree. I don't think they have anything in common but the position they play. But everybody needs something to keep them warm |

No that's Beeker making things up again...
Datsyuk is an Elite player. One of my favorites. Some have said that RNH has a Datsyuk quality to his game. Very good with the puck, strong defensively and responsible, elite playmaking. He was +3 last year in an "off " year. He had trouble scoring due to his injury but otherwise was pretty strong. If Nuge keeps progressing and turns out to be as good as Datsyuk we'll be very lucky. |

Datsyuk's not a big guy but he has no problem going to the dirty areas to make a play or score a goal.
Will Nuge be able to do that? Can his frame sustain that abuse? |

Rarely gets hit because hes smart and elusive. Remains to be seen if he can sustain it. His injury was not from physical abuse. |
