I try to temper my excitement for him telling myself that he has only played against two bad offensive teams, but he's really looking like he belongs here.

Shero has options if he really wants to keep him here, and Niskanen continuing to put points on the board only helps his trade value.

Gotta love Shero/Botteril... with all the defensive depth this team has, they don't rest. Instead they go out and sign a depth guy with 100+ NHL games under his belt to a two way deal.

Apart from stone hands Dupuis everyone played really well. Niskanen is keeping things simple and getting shots through. Even Glass is doing his job, though he was standing in front of the net with his stick up and not even watching as Malkin slid passes right through his wheelhouse.
