Last year I think we all wanted to go to that Marc Antony concert, but I think this year we should really plan a meeting to go to this George Strait concert. I think it'll be a lot of fun and I really anticipate seeing commercials for it every break.

Devils flushed away 10 points last season, it's real & it counts. Does DeBoer believe in practicing shootouts yet?

Between that and the PP that's consistently poop, it's no wonder they didn't make the playoffs. They won't again this year without fixing those two areas.

Need to find a third guy for the shootout. Elias and Brunner seem to be alright as 2 of the 3. Clowe, despite his percentage, seems too slow(same thing in OT)......Tedenby was pretty good in the shootout, last I recall

He was a plus 4 last season, third best among the D. I'm not a believer in the stat but since you're using it...

Otherwise you're being ridiculous. It's two games into a season in which a lot of people are finding themselves. Even Norris Trophy winners can go -4 over a two-game span. I follow Shea Weber closely because I have him on an Action PC team and I wouldn't be at all surprised if early last season he did the same thing, as he got off to a rough start. I guess he should have been benched.

This is the problem though. Larsson didn't (frank) up any more than anyone of the d last night. All of them gave up breakaways and oddman rushes. The only difference was Marty bailed them out on their mistakes and Larsson's ended in the net. No consistency from coach Deboer he (frank)ing sucks.

I'm concerned about both speed and how it relates to the defensive awareness of the forwards. On Grabner's first goal, the formation of the players was perfect. As third man high, Clowe should have been in a position to move backwards and be facing Grabner. Instead, he wasn't even trying to move his feet and was gliding as Grabner had the neutral zone to jet through at high speed. The Devils' backchecking has also left a lot to be desired in general. It's not just the defense. If you give guys time and space to attack with speed, the forwards also need to be accountable for that.
