I think it has more to do with Jagr's lack of conditioning at this point and them not having the legs to play with better players right now.

is it? He was one of our best skaters last night. he looks fine tonight. 3 quality plays went poof because of Gionta or Carter.

This team has a long way to go. LONG way. Mainly on defense. The offense will come, as it has. But seriously, this is the weakest defense in the league. Won't hit. Won't get in passing lanes. Constantly out of position. They're "veterans" but play like they should alongside Bryzgalov in the ECHL. Pathetic.

Funny, because when you watch the replay of that pass Carter gave to Jagr, it was perfect. Jagr just missed it. Your last paragraph is completely ridiculous. 4th line has been fine, Jagr just needs less ice time at this point.
