At least Zidlicky is in position to miss scoring goals. Harrold is literally invisible except when he is getting checked into the 3rd row.

that's what I was thinking. there was nothing exciting about that game, aside from a few chances at the end.

greene larsson and salvador zidlicky should swap for salvador larsson and greene zidlicky and put fayne and harrold on the 3rd pairing

I don't know what chances he's talking about either. We had a few minor chances but even those were rushed and generally missed the net.

How long before all the Pens fans who moaned about NJ ruining hockey with their style of play change their tune now that Martin has them going 1-3-1?

Well zidlicky and clowe both had golden opportunities and henrique had a penalty shot so there are the 2 or 3 probably

I've grown tired of DeBoer. His lines are horrible, shuffles more than Lemaire, and this defense is the worst NJ has had in years. No fundamentals, and between him & Lou, no accountability since Lou likes to reward time spent instead of play.

I said before the season started that if they kept this defense and didnt infuse some youth & speed they'd see a repeat of last year. And yeah i know "least shots allowed" but at the end of the day they lose. This D gives up fewer shots, but those shots are prime realty & oddman rushes. NJ on the other end cant do either, generate quality shots or get oddman rushes.

Right on i have been saying the same thing. I was furious seeing that we were going with the same exact defense and not 1 new body on it. The shots we give up are always prime realty or an oddman rush. I'd rather give up the most sshots and less of that poop.
