Except if Komisarek could actually intercept a pass and clear the zone.
- djamon

c'mon now....

yes he had a rough first half of the game... that's the first NHL back-to-back for him in what four years..

the potential upside far outweighs any concerns at this point..

- BorjeFan4Ever

He seem to improve as the game went on. Just needs a little time to get back.

Komisarek couldn't even make a pass.

Big greasy win

Finally getting some tending.

Kuleman earned his pay tonight - nice hit on Grossman

Phaneuf tired or stunned?

Lots of rust all over the lineup

(frank)ing eh!!!!!? 2-0

Really man?

Komi was bad making big coin...

Ranger is cheap and clearly an AHL D Man

disagree.. he's just getting accustomed to the NHL speed. Only issue tonight was the penalties, and 1 was just boxing a guy out, the other was to prevent a scoring chance, and he only missed the puck by a hair (granted it was on a breakaway that was his fault)

Another game or 2 and he'll be fine.

All Im saying is that Liles would not have looked that bad tonight.

Can anyone on here really say that they think Ranger can be a more trusted D man than Liles after what we just saw??

No...... JML>Ranger

yes. agreed.

he seems to be having difficulty with the physical intensity... not that he can't handle it... he just doesn't seem to expect it...

on a couple of occasions against the Habs I saw him glance at the Hab players... with sort of "what the f___ are you doing look"... when they bump the goalie get intense in the corners...

a few more games and we'll know whether he can regain his previoius form.

27 mins last night, 26 tonight. They basically played with 4 D for the 3rd. I don't remember Gardiner getting a shift.

The Leafs just started off the season with wins in back to back games, on the road, and you guys are whining, female doging and complaining. (frank) me.

who was solely responsible for the last goal against in the pre-season?

c'mon now, I'm sure Liles would contribute on the PP, but he's a defensive liability due mainly to his lack of size...

Usually I agree with you, but no, Ranger has lost 3 steps that he will not get back IMO

nothing to do with Liles, they can't afford anybody, which means Rielly is playing on Saturday most likely.

I figured, was playing guitar and having a few so wasn't paying attention to how many mins.

He had some good moments and a couple gaffs due to slowness ( tired)

Not complaining - just stating

Big win, (frank)ing love it.

Edit: I see Gardiners riding the pine again, hopefully he gets it together would love to see him pull it together defensively and not think jump as much, probably score more if he just let it come to him naturally instead of forcing it.

Solid win tonight...Bernier was a stud. Always nice to ruin two home openers aha.

Virgin poster here...signed up years ago, but all I generally do is read the blogs/comments.

I think it's like 10 games or something.... Mirtle was talking about it when mclaren was put on.

Yeah...not sure. For some reasons 10 games or 24 days sounds familiar.
