didn't watch last nights game, but what I have seen from Lupul so far in the opener and pre-season, is that he seems faster, and is trying play more like a power forward. Looks good. However it seems at times that his hands have not caught up to his increased speed, and looks awkward trying to pull of some moves.

Anyone get real frustrated watching the PK, basically every defensemen but gunnarson had the puck with time on the PK and couldn't shoot it off the glass? Our defense needs to get their house league poop together.

Vancouver had 2 of the top 5 goalies in the world.

Boston, NYR, Anaheim, Los Angeles, Chicago, Nashville, Ottawa, St. Louis, New Jersey, Montreal all only had 1 each.

I hate how the Leafs still insist on using the boards/glass to exit/clear the zone. Look at all the top teams in the league, and they will almost never go around the boards to exit.

Boston will even pass the puck to the other side of the zone right in front of their goalie numerous times to stretch things out and create open lanes.

The book on the Leafs is simply overload the winger at the hash marks and force turn over.

Totally agree - the up the boards give aways and the flipping the puck up the ice in the air make me super frustrated.
