It was a blowout 6-1 Avs. My guess is, it looked like Lovejoy stuck his leg out on MacKinnon by the blue line, he was ok. The ducks scored, next shift was last one of the game with 5 seconds left, everyone got together in front of the Avs bench when the horn sounded. Next thing you know the refs are chasing guys at different parts of the ice and then they showed Roy and Boudreau screaming at each right by the glass btwn benches, Roy started hitting the glass, knocked it like 3/4 of the way over!

Roy gets a pass by Canadian media, wonder what the reaction would be if it were Torts? Roy's an idiot, the idiot was borderline, he barely made contact but one thing for sure is the NHL is turning this league upside down

I think Sather was reported to have used the word leverage about 9 thousand times during the Derek Stepan negotiations.

Its clear this is why Hank is relaxed and wants nothing to do with talking about it in fact, why does there even have to be negotiating, he either gets the max for 8 here or for 7 elsewhere. Maybe Slats is hoping for a hometown discount (b/c of salary cap implications, etc) no chance, and Meehan will be the one using the term leverage 9000 times...

I'm terrified of this situation....At what point do you say "OMG he is gonan walk" and look to deal him? Or do you say no, we wait it out till the summer and work out a deal before July 1 even though we may lose him for NOTHING. I say the latter.. you have to hope and pray you can seal it.

I'm not going to worry about it yet, Sather negotiates hard when he has the cards, he doesn't in this case...this might be the one time that the fans might actually stop going to the garden...james d won't let it happen.

a signed hank + kreider + dorsett for kane and crawford. get a dope goalie, a good prospect, and help replenish some of your bottom 6 depth.

Roy has always been a jack@ss but his legacy, as a player, will always supercede his obvious malfunction in his personality.

I agree and for the record if I had Hank I wouldn't trade him either. Hes worth the money unlike the Gomezs and Richards. He will be a top goalie for atleast another 5 or six years

He's only 32 but he's in very good shape and hasn't had any physical setbacks that would indicate his body is beginning to break down.

There are very few players, in this league, that I would be ok in seeing Lundqvist get dealt for. Kane is not one of them; no matter how great he looked last season.

I love Hank but if they trade him and get 3 or 4 really good players for him. I wouldn't be devastated. On the flip side, if they keep him and buyout Richards next summer and turn his cap hit into a few really good players then I would be on board for that as well. I prefer the latter scenario, of course.
