Theadore and Bryz are waiting for MacT`s Call.

Trouba looked good, but no way in hell that goal should have went in. Same with Scheifle. You got two points served to you on a platter by bad goaltending tonight.

Just stole this post of Iggy's from the other thread by Tessier. Here's the thing how many of our goals shouldn't have went in? Why isn't there people blasting Pavelec for letting in Gazdic's goal or hemsky's or Gordon's?

The defense is still a question mark. There isn't anyone that has proven they can play over 21 or 22 minutes a night. Right now it's a bunch of second pairing guys with some potential

Well hopefully the entire team got rid of the jitters and can play a more rounded game and minimize the gaffes... I do think Belov appeared better than Smid and Petry combined- and they are expected to be better due to playing most of last season together... Ference and Schultz had some moments I am sure they would want back- N Schultz was not mentioned much so he did his part as well... Overall still a way better looking defense than previous years...

Being adequate and being above average is a big difference though. Anyway you slice it we are weak up from with two-way play, either the defense will have to step up or Dubbie.

I don't disagree it's better looking than previous years, but that doesn't say a whole heck of a lot.

How did it fail Tuesday? We got exactly what we wanted. As you say it should've been 5 goals, so really why was it so bad?
- Lahey

PP was good and Hemmer scored on a blown play by Little. The line chemistry, most notably on Lines 1 and 3 were terrible. Yak was underutilized and Eakins even admitted it. Hall was alone on most of his shifts because the other two were pulling their gonch out of their asses in the D zone still...

Chemistry on the lines....more important than spreading out the talent.... imo...

Switch Smyth and Yak. Then the first line will be lethal on the offensive.

When we start losing because of a lack of scoring then we have an issue. For now that is the farthest issue at this point. Unless they can find a way to make the lines smarter defensively, which was an issue.

All that does is play Yak out of position. Switch Hall and Gordon and maybe you have something.

You think they are the same thing? Gordon's was a sick deflection right in front of the net. Gazdic's took a couple bounces off his own guys right in front of the net. Hemmer had a clear shot front the hash marks. Nothing close to what Duby let in. I'm not a Duby hater by any means. I think he's solid and this was one bad game. But Scheifle's goal was from a terrible angle. Trouba's was from just inside the blue line. There was no traffic on either of them. An NHL gaol tender should make those saves 99% of the time.

I dunno, the little time I spent in Sask and the 2 years in Edmonton don't really give a good impression lol. I will say that I am impressed by what Manitoba has produced!

poopty or not, every game people complain about Dubnyk yet if you watch any highlight other goalies let the same in.

Don't get me wrong, Dubnyk needs blame but look at the goalie stats so far this year. They all suck outside of 4 guys. I still think Dubnyk's biggest problem is he doesn't get caught out of position enough and isn't forced to jump accross and make that hard save that shouldn't have been hard in the first place, but the fact that he doesn't move so much he doesn't get caught like other goalies. Yet no one gives him credit for that.

His SPCT just doesn't lie. His size hurts him in the eyes of the fan.
