The best was the comment about Buff being 30-40 pounds lighter than he was to finish the year, which they speculated he got up to 300lbs. First how do you gain weight during the year at his age? Second, we are suppose to applaud someone for coming into camp at 270lbs?

No chemistry? They had 4 goals. It wasn't a chemistry thing it was what plagued us last year, inexperience at defensive hockey.

You complain about the PP yet they scored 20 seconds into the first two PP. What do you want? Them to score as quick as our goon?

Complain about Gordon, yet he makes a beautiful tip?

Fuking steinley.

Stupid plays cost us the game. Dubs needed to bail them out on a few, but didnt. I liked the edge they played with though. I also liked all of the new Oilers.

Its not just one game though, every time I watch the Oil I always think they are a Randford/Fuhr type goalie away from being a real good young team.

Ahh Ranford... carried the team to the cup... those were some awesome games...

I will 100% say Dubnyk needed to bail us out, but he did a couple times. Simply put if you are Hall and Dubnyk you just move on and not worry about it. Hall's play was nothing to do with him being a centerman, Dubnyk can chalk it up as rust.

The thing is if we are going to play this style of run and gun, look out. We don't have the goalie to back us up, there aren't too many that can.

A Tommy Salo pre brutal Oly goal would be sweet right now.

He did on a few, but 3 of those goals should have been saves. He needs to save those ones. Im not worried about Hall.

Everytime I mentioned the Oilers need better goaltending you guys got mad at me and posted some meaningless stats

Oilers are getting what they deserve for building a team with one type of player and forgetting about anything else

So true... We need a game changing goalie... someone that can make that play that changes the game... doesnt necessarily have to have the percentages but those are nice... just someone that has the confidence of the team to make the play that doesnt deflate the teams momentum... Dubnyk has proven he does not have that... plain and simple...

D and tending are the obvious ones to me that are still turrible...time to make some bold moves you don't need six of the same player.

although honestly I hope they stick with what they got

The whole broadcast is useless. Messier interview while hockey is on, National updates during intermission, Lee has no idea that penalties are being called.

Most were deflected, not sure what he could do other than get lucky and have him hit him.

No they're gonna place everyone on waivers and go for the #1 overall.

Im not saying he cost us the game, that goes on the players, but he sure didnt help. If he doesnt have better games than that, the Oilers are screwed. Even if the forwards get there poop together.

Like I said, chalk it up as a game you move on from. That's all they really can do.

Well that's the way the oilers are going. Claiming the rest of the NHL's garbage to place their own players on waivers. Like I do understand why we got Mac but the fridge can't skate and if he can't skate what good does having him on the bench for 58 minutes a night,

Gazdic reminds me a bit of brown and eager mixed together so he basically makes either expendable but putting Eager down on the farm already without him showing what he can do in game that matters really sucks.

Hopefully Nuge & Gagner speed up their recovery, otherwise this is gonna be a long month where I would predict the Oilers to go 4-8-2
