Notice I said at the present time ( i even put twice, and you still miss it) Brodeur is 42 and has been slowing down and not as consistently as great as he was. Brodeur will not be the starter by the end of the year.

Fabulous that the Leafs got the 2 points. However the last 2 minutes scared the hell out of me. Almost shades of the game 7. Habs were a bounce away fron tying a game they had no business doing so.


Leafs have always had a bad habit of shaly play in the last 2 minutes of the 3rd long b4 the tragic evening of gam4 7. Even under Wilson they blew alot of games late in the 3rd. Now with many different players & another coach, that same bad habit follows them around like stink on a monkey. They need to work on this.

Everytime something happens where a player gets injured, people get very upset and say they will do something for about 48 hours and then nothing happens.

Fighting won't be banned.

Yup don't know when it'll happen but at some point this season, Brodeur will be handing the torch to Schneider. The beginning of a new era in NJ.
