Look guys, the Sabres fell short of being this guys #1 most hated team. Man the Sabres can't even win at being the most hated.

Best case this season is that the Sabres are successful with Stafford being productive so that he can become trade bait at the trade deadline. With him off the books, Vanek and Ott can be resigned.

I doubt Stafford is a Sabre next season whether he is traded at the deadline or not. He'll be off the books regardless. Unless there's some sort of bromance between Stafford and Vanekand/or Ott that I'm not aware of, Stafford is a non-factor as to whether one or both of the other two re-sign.

Or we trade all 3. I want nothing to do with Vanek and his new contract. I am actually disappointed (as much as i love ott, he was one of my favorite players before we traded for him) that we did trade him last year for a 1st at the deadline.

That draft was loaded and schnieder could only fetch a 1st round pick, idk we didnt take a first for Ott since we are rebuilding.
