Saad looks like he is set up for a big year
Really like the way he protects the puck
Hayes looked like his old lumbering self out there hope he improves

Those are bad. Even worse, gotten them on the inside of both thighs. It was all I could do to get moving.

To Q Argh on this too....thx...been advised to drink a lot water since those ma'phuckers are often chalked up being dehydrated. I'll gladly wake up to pish a couple times in the middle of the night than endure the feeling of stepping into a bear trap. OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWCH

You go? How was the pregame coldplay concert? Looked pretty awesome. And plenty of goals and a win sounds like an awesome night to me

Live Saad looked like a monster.

Crawford made some fantastic saves.

Seabrook looked good . Last year Seabrook was. A step behindd until the playoffs
He looked really good tonight.

JoeHawks88 is probably some 14 year old kid who is still popping zits and watching way too much internet porn. He probably gets beaten up for his lunch money on a daily basis.

Give the poor kid a break.

Exactly..that was my point. It all comes down to intent, and if a player is killing a penalty and hammers the puck 60 yards and over the glass down ice while clearing the zone...

...the "intent" was to clear the zone. Worst case just bring the draw back the other way as if it were an ice...not a 2 min. minor.

This isn't rocket science.

- ArlingtonRob

So now you want the officials to determine intent? They can barely keep up with the speed of the game now, let alone trying to determine what the player was really trying to do.

Leave the rule as it it is or eliminate it completely.

Eli, you couldn't have said it better! the other side of the coin......... no 17 second brain fart, goin back to chicago, I think the Hawks were in trouble, Bruins win game 7.................But it didn't happen that way !!! ,this time!
was at the game tonite, CC bailed em out, not bad for opening night jitters and the ceremony, come out with 2 points! the not so good, 3 PP goals against, the kids?? preseason is different, my gut feeling, 42 is back in rockford, 22 is upstairs, 28 is on the ice and either winchester (for vet bottom 6 big presence) or Pirri is recalled, JMO , that is all boys.
Frolik just scored for the jets, watch this kid pot 30 this year, just our luck!

I didn't think there was a chance in hell the Hawks would win game 6 after Lucic scored the 2nd goal, but I was sure the Hawks would have won game 7. Glad we never had to find out who was right. I didn't think much of hayes. I think smith is in for him. I liked nordstrom, though

Frolik with 2 goals plus the rookies Trouba and Scheifele with one each.

Oil blows lead and loses at home. I know the Jets are in our division, but I still enjoy seeing the Oil lose...especially at home.

Awesome post Cup...Nordstrom looked like a ROOKIE tonight. While Fro's out winning games for his new team. Not gonna harp on who's gone...we all knew some QUALITY was departing. Nordstrom's a very interesting player. I'd give him 8-10 games to see if he can get up to speed.

Knowing Frolik, he won't score again until February.
