Well it is next to impossible to compare the two players when they have had two distinctly different careers. Cheechoo clearly nose dived. Kessel could have gotten an even larger contract if he left.

atleast its not known but what i dont get lets just say he does leave. WHy no just sell it to the next sabre?

Let's not forget that this team played well for Rolston after Lindy gat canned. 15-11-5... Extrapolated (try to keep up, Leafs trolls) for a whole year that gets us well over 90 points and into the playoffs most years.

Myers for Captain! What do we have to lose? Him or Cody IMO. I'd vote for Weber but he might be a healthy scratch still (although I doubt it) and Captain Rivet we do not need.
