Drop the damn puck on this season already. I am ready

I gotta think there will be significant improvement. See you all around game time.

I hate to say it, but the Leafs looked solid last night. I've said it before, but I always thought Reimer was solid and there was no need for them to get Bernier. I hope I am wrong but I've seen the old team played the night before routine end up with a loss for us. That being said, I will be watching and cheering the boys on! Hockey's back Woot!

They don't need a goalie who put up a SV% of .900 behind a weak defense last year when they already have a guy who put up .920 behind an equally weak defense.

Anyone have experience with NHL Vault (I think part of Game Center Live). Purchased it just for a month as I'm out of country for the first two weeks of October and wanted to watch the Flyers games on-demand. I'm curious how quickly the videos are actually put up for availability? They say 24-hours for regular games and 48-hours for national games? Hoping the actual number for regular games is closer to 16 hours or so. Anyone have any input?

Game on!!!

Hopefully whichever of our goalies play will post a shutout, Brayden Schenn will score, Laughton will play really well and the D will look solid. Then all of you who are dangling off the bridge will be able to come down.

I do not want to hear excuses if they come out slowly tonight. It's opening night.

At home.

There should be no reason not to come out fast tonight.

Add to that list that Lava changes his system, calls a perfect time out, and punches Coatsey in the face.

I know they were wrong. And I never want to see anyone hurt. But I'll admit I laughed at the replay. Just....what the hell?

Is it really that taboo? Parros engages in fights on a regular basis, knowing well the risk that he might be concussed or concuss his opponent. He does this for the fans' entertainment. Or rather, he does it because that's why he's was signed to a contract, and the organization pays him because they want to put a entertaining product on the ice, and the fans pay because they want to watch hockey (fights included). All of that said, fighters know the risk of fighting, on thin metal blades, on ice, while trying to keep their balance.

I personally did not laugh when Parros fell, but I laughed when I saw the pictures of those Leafs fans. Now if a player is concussed while actually playing hockey, that would be something different. But a fight? It happens all the time, hockey, boxing, MMA, etc.

Well then.....carry on.

Either way, I'm sure someone here will be outraged. If they are, read my above post.
