sure they do. they're numbers. there's not much room for debate. what you debate is the place of these statistics in terms of their correlation to success. the people who follow these numbers understand that there are no absolutes. the problem that i have is, when you see these articles, i would like to see some comparisons. if the Leafs are the worst corsi team, who is second and third wrost and where did they finish? where did the best corsi teams finished? how have these numbers predicted overall success in the last 5 years? there's not much context given.

I love how the TSN pole on weather Kessel for 8mil is worth it to the Leafs is weighed to the no side. I think people are taking it as is he worth 8 mil to them the voter. And im sure alot of people think he isnt. But to the Leafs he is worth every penny. He has done nothing but getting better for them.

I use their list, in addition to my own opinion of said player...typically works fine...im going to say that bob mac and scott cullen's opinions are quite good when it comes to player rankings.
