Two different type of players, both equally important to their teams success. The one-dimensional criticism Kessel used to get from me included has gone away. When the games mattered he stepped up big time.

I'd say it makes him better...but not miles better. Kessel out scores Giroux, Giroux out assists Kessel and is better defensively. It's a bit of a trade off.

You forget that we got rid of Bryz, dude was a pylon between the pipes and our all of our defense was injured for at least 3/4 of the season besides Schenn and missed the playoffs by 5 pts, I think if it was a full season they were in, There is a reason we havent missed the playoffs but twice in the last 18 years

So Schenn is A playoff Cancer,
JVR is the Playoff Moses
and Kessel < Giroux

All based on one playoff birth in 10 years?

give the guy a break, the flyers were 13th pretty much all season until having a decent run at the end where the games meant nothing.
