If it goes past 9 games. I think Reinhart will be here until the team has to send him to back to Juniors. Hopefully he only misses a week or so...

i really hope not...martinek is old news and exactly the kind of player the islanders are trying to rid themselves of (in an old-and-slow kinda way)...id rather the youthful energetic type of player then radek

edit: having said that even if hamonic is out, they may not bring up CDH simply bc not sure theyd start 2 rookies out of the gate...whoever is being scratched would get the nod.

I like this year's team, looks better than last year's ...I think they'll tinker the roster a little when Clutterbuck is back. I'm sure Bouchard will get hurt, so I would think we'll see Strome by January. Looking forward watching Griffin Reinhart a least for nine games.

No real surprises. Psyched to see guys like Donovan and Nelson and Reinhart up intead of re-tread, washed up vets being brougth in. I didn't see the Hamonic hit, have no idea what happened to him, but if it was serious, I think someone somewhere would have leaked it on Twitter or whatever by now.

BPT is going to have a solid team. Lee, Strome, Sundstrom and others are going to light it up down there. Love seeing guys being developed in the "A" before being rushed to the Show.

If they don't anything what are the fans gonna do? Whine and complain on a message board? Whether the hit was legit or not really isn't the issue right now. Its how long Hamonic will be out. There was no penalty on the play and nobody went after the player who hit him, so based off that I would think it would be nothing more then a borderline hit if that

I actually thought Radek was playing well enough late last year to deserve more playing time. He was another one of those guys who had a great game, scored a goal and then was scratched the following game..

but carkner provides something for this team that radek doesnt know the first about...

I'd have to think that if it was anything long term and worrisome with Hamonic, they'd have signed Martinek rather than releasing him from his tryout today. If nothing else, Martinek's a steady presence in his own zone.
