They're just quicker than everyone else....and they're not tiny, unlike most of the guys who usually dominate that league. With a healthy Nilsson, that team should be worth the trip across the Sound this year, they really should. If Pulock was there, they'd be an all-star team. They could be special, unless we steal all of their players .

This is one where I'll take the other side, which is not usual for me. I usually like the violent aspects of the game- as far as I'm concerned, if you get a concussion from a legit shoulder, because you're counting your shoelaces as you cross the blue line, then YOU are the dumba$$, not the defensive player.

However, that deal of letting someone beat you to the puck and then hammering his face into the glass is a wussy move, in my opinion. I'd still like to cold-cock Gary Roberts for what he did to Kenny Jonsson in the playoffs that one year. Blasting someone into the dasher from behind is BS, and anything they can do to end that is a good thing, IMO.

If I see one more post on FB about how its not Obamas fault at all and Obama is a great resident Im going to lose my shat. How can people still worship this guy is beyond me?

What we need to realize to fix this country is that they are ALL cr*p. For everyone I know who worships Obama, there's another who sucks at the teat of the "Book of Limbaugh", which is just as stupid- and it's the fact that we "worship" one or the other of these groups of morons that perpetuates what we get from them. They are all garbage, and most of them belong in prison. Neither of the two groups are 100% right about anything, and the majority of what they do is to serve "the people" they see when they look in the mirror. This is what we have wrought, with no term limits, and private money involved in our elections. If you want to change America, for the next three elections, vote for someone else- ANYONE else, but the person who is there. Once they know their a$$ is on the line, they'll start doing their job, instead of talking a lot of sh*t, and then going out together to get drunk at 3:00 in the afternoon, while the rest of us work for a living.

Yes I thought Streit was a better option than Viz b/c he was better on the power play. They both were not overly gifted on the defensive end... but Streit was FAR better on the point for the PP. I would not have wanted him for 4 years or that much money.. and I certainly would not want both of them on this team. but between the 2 .. Streit was a better option. (Streit had 5 points in 6 playoff games last year... viz 2. )

If you're referring(thought maybe you were bcs of Vukota's response to my post in response to yours. lol) to me in this post my opinion hasn't changed. I still have my doubts with Snow our lack of goaltending and defense speaks volumes to me. I never said our prospects sucked. I always liked Bailey(still do) didn't like Okposo. As far as the PO's last year, yeah I said there was little too no chance, got me there bud. My opinion hasn't changed about Nino, I still think he's going to be a good power fwd. I don't think because he had differences with Snow and was mismanaged by him he's a bust. BTW, Streit facking sucks

Err, he had more goals last season than Nelson, who everyone is gaga over (heck, myself included). His goal scoring will be just fine.
