I know it can be a shock, but different words mean different things. A professional writer, such as Engels, should know that.
Weakest would show a low ceiling, perhaps PROVEN players, with low ability. Unproven, in this case, dictates a group of forwards who don't have a huge body of work in the NHL to draw from, but have extremely high potential.
