Weakest forward group in the East?

Did you even look at the depth chart and research the Bolts lineup or just say "DON'T KNOW THOSE NAMES BAAAAAAD"?

Beyond the Marty and Stammer crown:

Purcell: Usually a 60 point guy.

Malone: When healthy, a 50-60 point guy.

Killorn: Young player, should hit 20 goals, 40 points and plays a strong two-way game.

Fillpula: Has 60 point potential, and last year was a rough ride for him via injury and no training camp.

The "Tampacuse" Line: Johnson, Palat and Panik. Have dominated the AHL for a couple of seasons, and all got some quality ice time in the big league last year. All three looked pretty good. Now with a season of conditioning, a proper training camp, their old coach and keeping their incredible chemistry intact, they will make a very formidable 3rd line.

Connolly: First call up as soon as Malone is injured. Played lights out in preseason. Killorn will be shuffled to the top line, Connolly with slot in with Val and Teddy.

I know its easy to pick on the Lightning, but calling their forward corps "the weakest" shows some pretty poor research on your behalf. UNPROVEN, I could somewhat agree with.

Regardless, pick on our goaltending and D, there's where the real question marks are- not at forward.

Also, nice to hear a non-Lightning fan wanting us to ruin our prospects... good call. Yeesh...

I'm glad you took care of those trolls before it got out of hand. I'm sure Cabin and the rest have learnt their lesson. Now we can talk about Garf and his upcoming cheerleading competition.

Well, the contract kicks in next year, so it has no incidence on their cap troubles this season, and I can't say he does not deserve it.
- _nay_

The point is that this isn't going to make their lives easier. When Franson next year, and Kadri the year after are due for their paydays, this contract could get in the way.

Yeah, they'll be in deep poop, but at least they signed him at market value, unlike Phaneuf.

So if I get this right, while the American economy is down the poopters, the solution to this according to elected officials is to shut the whole thing down?

Sounds like a brilliant plan to me...

- Pecafan Fan

I hope so. It's one big ponzy scheme, has to colapse at some point.

unproven (ʌnˈpruːv ə n)

— adj
1. not established as true by evidence or demonstration: unproven allegations
2. (of a new product, system, treatment, etc) not tried or tested

weak
[week] Show IPA
adjective, weak·er, weak·est.
1.
not strong; liable to yield, break, or collapse under pressure or strain; fragile; frail: a weak fortress; a weak spot in armor.
2.
lacking in bodily strength or healthy vigor, as from age or sickness; feeble; infirm: a weak old man; weak eyes.
3.
not having much political strength, governing power, or authority: a weak nation; a weak ruler.
4.
lacking in force, potency, or efficacy; impotent, ineffectual, or inadequate: weak sunlight; a weak wind.
5.
lacking in rhetorical or creative force or effectiveness: a weak reply to the charges; one of the author's weakest novels.

I know it can be a shock, but different words mean different things. A professional writer, such as Engels, should know that.

Weakest would show a low ceiling, perhaps PROVEN players, with low ability. Unproven, in this case, dictates a group of forwards who don't have a huge body of work in the NHL to draw from, but have extremely high potential.

I hate Tbay. I hate everything about them. (frank) them and (frank) Teddy Purcell. (frank)ing waste of cash, like donating a million bucks to curing anal warts...don't take it in the poopter from a clown and you won't have to worry about it right?. I actually like Lecavalier better now that he's with Philly. (frank) Tbag
