I welcome this addition, as we have never had a dog size expert on this thread before.

Pateryn was brutal defensively and coughed up the puck under pressure.

Beaulieu was horrible defensively as well, but he's a cocky (frank), and that's what's going to help him make it to NHL one day.

A big body, smooth skating, right-handed shot won't hurt either

Pateryn is not ready to play against NHLers 3 times a week. He looked fine in the first few games against fellow AHLers but couldn't keep up at the end against better players, unlike Tinordi.

Beaulieu is very near the NHL. Should be a fulltime Hab next season.

He has good attributes, but he needs to take quicker decisions with the puck.

If he ever makes that adjustment, he could be a good bottom pairing physical D for the Habs.

Orr is gonna smash Parros' face in tonight.

Fraser is gonna hurt somebody, doesn't matter who, but it'll happen.

And THIS TIME..one of our players will run into your goalie and he'll be out for a while.

Weakest forward group in the East?

Did you even look at the depth chart and research the Bolts lineup or just say "DON'T KNOW THOSE NAMES BAAAAAAD"?

Beyond the Marty and Stammer crown:

Purcell: Usually a 60 point guy.

Malone: When healthy, a 50-60 point guy.

Killorn: Young player, should hit 20 goals, 40 points and plays a strong two-way game.

Fillpula: Has 60 point potential, and last year was a rough ride for him via injury and no training camp.

The "Tampacuse" Line: Johnson, Palat and Panik. Have dominated the AHL for a couple of seasons, and all got some quality ice time in the big league last year. All three looked pretty good. Now with a season of conditioning, a proper training camp, their old coach and keeping their incredible chemistry intact, they will make a very formidable 3rd line.

Connolly: First call up as soon as Malone is injured. Played lights out in preseason. Killorn will be shuffled to the top line, Connolly with slot in with Val and Teddy.

I know its easy to pick on the Lightning, but calling their forward corps "the weakest" shows some pretty poor research on your behalf. UNPROVEN, I could somewhat agree with.

Regardless, pick on our goaltending and D, there's where the real question marks are- not at forward.

Also, nice to hear a non-Lightning fan wanting us to ruin our prospects... good call. Yeesh...

Nothing amuses me more than a team that has trouble managing their cap situation signing a player to an $8M/yr extension.

Well, the contract kicks in next year, so it has no incidence on their cap troubles this season, and I can't say he does not deserve it.
