For some, it's as much as 2.5 inches on each pad (height) and about 1.5 in width.

They also had to remove those extra "flaps" that were supposedly there to protect the knees but in reality they were just closing the 5 hole.

something like that, the distance from the center of the knee to the top of the pad was shortened.
Which either means Luongo has very short thighs or he used short pads
