Just like the Rangers, there's no offense . I read just about anything and seeing as I am from BC originally AND a fan of Torts I'll keep my eyes open .

what about viktor hedman? what is he like in the dressingroom?


....if were gonna go with young captain (MYVOTE IS FOR MARTYBTW) should he be a consideration? he is our stamkos version of the blue line, young, learning, improving, there to stay... putting up better and better numbers each year and a better defensive game too.

but im not so sure what hes like in the locker room, it would have to be an outstanding voice of reason and leadership to ever come close to stamkos' lead by example with a little mix of voice when needed, just throwing out options on captains eve

I actually have him 4 on my list of captain choices behind Stamkos, Marty and Filippula. Though realistically its between Stamkos and Marty. I would choose Stamkos for the simple fact he is pretty much the same age as all the young guys coming up on the team but has FIVE years of experience in the NHL... Love Marty but I think Stammer would relate more to the other players.

"Look up and down Tampa's lineup, and outside of St. Louis and Stamkos, this might be the weakest forward crop in the East. "

All I can say is lol.
This being basically the same forward corps that scored the 4th most goals in the NHL last season. What a joke.

yes sir for sure between marty and stamkos, generates some good discussion though, id have to go with marty...hes got many seasons left ! he is nothing but a true passionate player, with the most heart you could ever ask for, he should of been captain a long time ago

my top 4captains would be:
1.marty
2.stamkos
3.thompson (as long as hes here for good)
4. Hedman (not sure what his locker room presence is though, so tough call)

outside of the top 3 it really couldnt be anyone else IMO

thompson is a slim chance, but it is an absoloute possibility, arty might be right but probably not, but the option is definately not out the window
