He has since deleted the tweet. He's got every right to be surprised/upset. If you see his quotes in Cristodero's tweets that I've embedded in this blog, it's pretty clear that he wasn't expecting to be cut.

Malone is not a douche like Vick. That's why I didn't use him.

Connolly was a bit of a head scratcher, but you can't have that much skill playing with BJ Crombeen . he'll dominate the AHL and will be the first call up when mr. glass breaks .

haha exactly! that's what I said on Twitter pretty much. I gave him 5-10 games.

I am not sure cutting any of Palat, Johnson, or Panik would have been the right move. They are pretty dominant as a line and have great chemistry and had good success last year in the NHL. They have paid their dues, won a championship in the AHL and deserve to be on this team. If Malone wasn't on the team, or he gets injured, than Connolly gets his shot.

I've been debating this in my head. His "well that sucks" tweet indicates that he's not exactly happy. His development with the team hasn't exactly been smooth. Still, for some reason I just don't think that he'll ask to get out. He's going to get an opportunity here. They want him playing top-six.

i can accept that the ability of the line together is what knocked him off, not the individual ability....but i cant accept him not being on the roster ! .... i would be PISSED...

move malone down and put connolly o the first line or put killorn there and put him on the 2nd line....he had chemistry with everyone!!
