Another highlight from today's practice was when Rosehill beat Emery twice in one drill and then did the Ovechkin celebration where he kisses his hand and then points to the sky.

Did Emery have a reaction?

No, guys were coming in on him pretty quick. He didnt really have time fir a reaction. Nobody seemed to pay much attention to it. I was there with my nephew, a Caps fan. He got a kick out of it.

Bonuses always count until it is deemed the player cannot earn those bonuses. Teams can use the Bonus Cushion to get Cap Compliant.
- MJL

Oh Ok. Are bonuses counted in full at the start of the season when using LTIR?

Rosehill was the only one to score on both shots.

The only time a bonus is not counted is when it is determined by the League that the player will not meet the criteria for earning that bonus. Only then is a bonus written into a players contract, removed from the Cap. Which means the team gains Cap space.

So now that hall has cleared waivers, can he be claimed if we decide to bring him back to the big club?

Nope. Recall waivers don't exist anymore.

Hall is still on the Flyers roster. As of now, he hasn't gone anywhere. Recall waivers don't exist anymore if he's sent to Adirondack.

That's why I get confused because of the old cba. I thought that waiving him simply gives homer more flexibility to keep him or assign him to the ahl.

I expect Hall back unless they make a trade. They will need to start carrying 13 forwards soon enough.

I'm eager to see what homer's plan is here. I hope he can find a way to swing the mesz for Mitchell deal although bill says its too good to be true and it prob is.

I would not be surprised to see Hall in the lineup on Oct. 2nd.

Right now it looks like the plan is for Orr to punch Rosehill's face in Wednesday night. That plan is subject to change.

Really? I thought that we needed Rosehill for his goal scoring. I mean without him we may lose 6 0 instead if 6 1. Lol

Rosehill handled himself pretty well against Orr last April, though if I were Jay, I wouldn't want a steady diet of him.

Yeah he did. Rosehill played a good game in Toronto last year.

According to Hockeyfights.com, Rosehill was declared the Winner of that fight. He can handle himself against pretty much anybody. And he is capable of playing a 4th line regular shift. I have no problems with Rosehill on the roster or in the lineup.
