Colburn was a former first round pick who has only managed to play in 16 NHL games and he went for a fourth. There might be hope for Tedenby and JJ yet.

On second thought, after reading Lou talk about how he'd hate to pay NHL money from a one-way contract to a player in the AHL, and considering we'd have to do just that with the roster as it stands, I think a trade is imminent.

I hope its a package deal for one significant player, not just Tedenby for a 4th or Fayne for a 3rd and some other duster. Maybe if we throw enough of our bust prospects together we can manage to get back into the 1st round of this draft.

Fayne isn't useless though I agree more needs to be added. but this seems like a situation where all the kids are fighting for not a lot of spots he could be the odd man out of Tb to make room for the youth to start getting some NHL experience.

Not that we're looking to add any more forwards (we'll probably look to acquire picks), but Nashville fans predict Craig Smith won't be in NSH by the end of the season. I always liked his offensive skill and physicality.
