It was 3.3 before the lockout.

Adding 7% growth and the outdoor games can get to 70m cap.

Any landlords here?

CALGARY - A so-called sovereign citizen who is said to have claimed a Calgary rental property as his "embassy" has been removed from the home after a two-year battle with the senior who owned the place.

Calgary police swooped in in the wee-hours of Friday morning and arrested Andreas Pirelli, who investigators confirm is also named Mario Antonacci, on several outstanding warrants issued by courts in Quebec.

Other people remained in the house Friday afternoon, but an eviction company said it was preparing to clear them out over the weekend.

Rebekah Caverhill said she rented her beige-brick, bungalow-style duplex to Pirelli in November 2011.

He came at the recommendation of a friend and promised to fix the place up in exchange for a few months' free rent. But she said he soon identified himself as a follower of the Freemen-on-the-Land movement, claimed the property as an embassy, changed the locks and placed a lien on the home.

Putting Liles on waivers and hoping someone takes him off their hands is Nonis's only out...

I know Leaf fans think he did well but he is just prolonging the agony. Franson got exactly what he wanted and that was to be arbitration eligible next year. I think many Leaf fans and others are going to be sorely disappointed when the Cap does not go up significantly next year and the Leafs Cap hell will remain with so many players to sign.

Let the hatred and telling me Im wrong begin....

- Iggysbff

nope.

I don't think the cap will go 70M next year maybe 68M.

Are you really this stupid?

William Katt doesn't have to know how to skate.

When he puts on the suit, he becomes a great skater.

Did you not watch the show?

Considering most blogs, websites say the cap is gonna be at 80 mil in 4 years i cant see going up 6.5 in one year the nhl wont hit 4b this year took three years to win back lots of markets in the us,7 canadian teams cant carry the league to that kind of revenue if anything id say they will be lucky to hit 3.5 b this year i believe the four outdoor games were put in to try to keep the revenue as is and grow from there.

Good to hear. A league is only as strong as its weakest franchises and if this stabilizes the team for the long term everyone wins.

Well except for the Leafs, they never win anything

I don't understand your point? You're the saying the Leafs screwed themselves over by giving a Franson a 2 million dollar contract to see if he can produce like he did for a full season before giving him a long term? Also with all of the outdoor games the cap is most definitely going up. And yes you are wrong, but I don't hate you.

They had 7% growth every year after the lock out, so yes I think they will continue.

And they've already said there will be more than one outdoor game next year.

They added 160mil a year in growth.

We all know Burke around here, anyone else think he's offering Nonis something like: (cheap roster player) for Liles+prospect?

Yeah they made 75% or revenue before lockout in less than 60% of he games. You're making no sense.

Why can't you see that? No one says it has to increase uniformly. Especially with all of the outdoor games this year.

Ok but they just had another lockout you really think there gonna hit that 7% again not a chance damage is done in a lot of markets in the states again i firmly believe the 4 outdoor games were put in to help with the revenue where it is

What are you basing this "damage is done" argument on? For some reason the lockout is good for growth. I don't understand it, and I hate it, but that's what has happened the last 3 lockouts.
