Is it just me or are teams "scared" to ice an nhl line up??? at least against Edmonton. Canucks, Jets, Rangers, and now the stars have a large amount of AHL/JR players dressed. Or are they just hiding what they got?

Maybe this is a good thing for the Oilers, the team knows what the line combos are for the most part. And wining all these games could be adding a lot of confidence going into regular season.

That could've happened in game one. It's when you have a Tulupov that is trying to earn a spot in the NHL knock someone out that you have to be worried. The Kassian's or Scott's of the world are just as much a danger in game 1 of regular season, but crazy (frank)ers with no NHL pay cheque are just wild cards.

Which is also why I hate when people go on about sending young guys back down to "toughen up" there are more guys in junior or the ahl that will take liberties trying to make a name for themselves. Rnh and others would be no safer if they were sent back down. If your ready for the NHL, you're ready. Period. poop happens...
