OK but Luke Adam has a two way contract and if it doesn't work out he can go play in OKC for a fraction of the cost that Adam Hall would make on his 1 way. Luke Adam would have a chance to prove himself that he fits in with this young Oilers team while Adam Hall will just jump on a bigger contract next summer. - nated81
Good point. I didn't think about contracts, just figured we have enough tweeners and could use a veteran centerman. |

Adam Hall. An actual NHL 4C. EDM can't live off of 1 NHL centre til RNH is back |

In all seriousness though, the people leading this province are (frank)-tards. At least half of the population are idiots. |

Is Acton not good enough? I know he's a rookie, undrafted, collegiate , AHL tryout guy who has never played in the NHL, but could not be as good as either? Or is it that he is unproven at the NHL level that worries you? He's looked competent and hard working in the pre-season. |

I heard they have done a fantastic job attracting foreign workers and students though , so that's a good thing. |

They attract foreign students, because tuition is dirt cheap... Always has been.
Foreign workers suck when there's not enough work for the people who already live here... I guess it depends on what types of jobs the foreign workers are working at. In the construction industry industry I have no problem with it, because they have specific skills that many in the area do not -- And they typically don't just stand around fingering their assh0les for hours a day (like some local workers I know do). |

when a player goes on waiver, are there certain teams get first crack or claim at the player or it's first come first serve? |

Foreign workers in the building trades are brought in to basically bust the unions balls. |

Yeah it sucks to lose out on a job your equally qualified for, but it seems that a lot of foreign workers are willing to take the sh1t jobs that snotty white people think are beneath them. |

What is it with Newfies being good hard working hockey players? I think the Oil could use a guy like Luke Adam. |

I love the idea of Unions, negotiating fair wages, promoting health and safety, humane work conditions, etc Unfortunately in some provinces (b.c.) they have become So strong that it takes a million documents to terminate the laziest most useless (frank)s who purposely do as little as possible. Protecting those bumholes makes me sour on unions. |
