I think there's less pressure on Plekanec to be the offensive guy. Doesn't mean he can't largely contribute on that end--and he will.

The Canadiens have two second lines, and one of them is more defensive and the other more offensive.

There's real good balance and depth up front this year.

Maybe its been said already, I'm not going to read through the dross...but one positive is that the 'veterans' might actually have to start worrying about job security this year due to the up and comers out hustling as opposed to the past where they were all but guaranteed a regular spot due to the poop that was in the pipelines.
