You didn't stop to realize that the reason the rookies are getting so many goals and points are because the Sabres are playing them in key roles because they HAVE to. Everybody else is playing their NHL guys to get ready for the season. Weak team equals quality ice time for rookies.

So what your saying is that our rookies are faring pretty well against NHL'rs. That's good because that's basically what our team will consist of.

Yep we suck but still beat the Hurricanes, really who cares, our team is rebuilding and it will be a long season, we know you don't like us and you are I titled to your opinion but give the whole your teams sucks a rest, your team won one cup by taking out the hottest goalie in the playoffs in game one of the final. Have a good season and let the best team win.

i actually don't think the Sabres suck. just GARTH. i think the Sabres are in a good spot moving forward.

Leafs fans are just bitter because Buffalo's stable of prospects have looked good thus far and our rebuild is looking promising.

Their rebuild started in 1967 and has gone nowhere

The link to Hockey's Future is for an evaluation done in spring 2013 at the end of the regular season last year. They update the list and publish it again before the beginning of the regular season this year. It won't be long before we see how the draft and preseason development affected the rankings.

In the end though, its still about the future - not the NOW.

Leaf's fans are living in the moment, they haven't been in the playoffs in years so when it finally happens they feel the need to chirp while they can. It's rather annoying honestly.

I guess the Panthers should plan the parade for the cup!
Cause a guy that runs a website know WAY more than hundreds of NHL scouts, GM coaches etc.

The Sabres have some guys that look like they could be good, but they need to develop them properly.

There are so many guys that are great prospects or high draft picks that just dont translate to the NHL.

Nothing would make this rivalry better than the Leafs and Sabres battliing for 1st in the division and meeting in the playoffs about 5 years in a row.

Laffs is so old! Its as bad as the old "Oooh Ahh Sabres on the Golf Course" cr@p

And "Blow Leafs Blow". A guy at the game last Sat was teaching his 6 year old to say it. Not a good parent. Most of you guys are much better than that.
