I've read a lot of dumb articles in my lifetime, but this is perhaps the dumbest. Ecklund, are you monitoring your site? Why don't you just write "I hate the Rangers" over and over. It would be more honest and forthcoming. Or try doing some research. Oldest roster in the league? They MIGHT have 4 players over 30 on the opening night roster. Meh its like 2 AM in NY anyways so I'm guessing your either drunk or tired as hell.

This is literally the most poorly written article, void of any sort of factual basis i have ever read and it should be deemed blasphemous by anybody who has any sort of hockey intellect. No matter what AV does in NY it won't slow down the Rangers offense anymore, quite the opposite. Nash and Stepan are poised to do work and "King" Henriks GAA and SV% may grow a little without Torts' system, but they won't double. That Jack Adams award was for a reason, and NONE of those players will be retiring anytime soon. I mean John Moore retiring? Del Zots retiring? in 2-3 years. You're an idiot. Please never publish anything again for fear that you can influence anybody's opinion on an otherwise great club.

I think I'm more pissed off that we lost 5-0 to a Torts run team than how they really played, I thought we dominated early and came of the 1st period the better team, they have no excuses about Torts system anymore, they may be learning a new one but they still had glorious chances, almost isn't going to cut it.

Most of their goals were straight up garbage/fortunate bounces. Hank was a sieve last night and their defense looked lost in front of the net.

If this was October 3rd and this game counted, ok, worry away. I refuse to worry about the end result with games that don't mean anything.

Seriously, I know we want this team to never lose a game but when the games do not matter, all I am concerned with is seeing none of the players get injured during these meaningless games and seeing which line combinations work the best.

The team actually outplayed Vancouver; Luongo severely outplayed Lundqvist last night, without quesiton. I have a feeling Lundqvist won't be getting outplayed too many times when the games matter. Just a hunch.
