I don't think so either, but a lot of people project them being there because they are Detroit.

Besides Buffalo and Florida, it's hard to know who's an absolute bottom team.

I don't think Buffalo will be as bad as they were last season.

Cuts are out !

They lost Pomminville but I expect Myers and Miller to be better. Also Hodgson could take another step.

that being said....I doubt they compete for the playoffs.

So....I'm in a golf tournament today. Tee off in an hour and a half.

It's currently pouring rain with 50 to 70 kph winds.

NICE!!!!!

Nothing surprising here, so who's left? Bournival, Tinordi, Beaulieu, Dumont?

EDIT : Thanks.

looks like Tinordi is in the top 6 to start? still with the team and not playing tonight.

I know I'm day dreaming when I say/hope this..... I hope MB trades 2 players to make room for Tinordi and Bournival.

Who ?

I'd say Diaz and White/Moen

I know Tinordi ain't as good as Diaz at moving the puck... but I'd rather have him in our top 6 than Diaz.

As for Bournival ? I think he did what needed to be done to force MB into giving him a spot.

I really doubt any trades occur... but one can only hope.

I don't believe they are better. You can break it down by position, but I don't see them as a better team than the Canadiens. I'm not saying the Canadiens are better than them, either.

I wouldn't trade White just yet. Still think he can be an effective 4th liner.

I know most people think he needs to hit on every shift for White to be useful...but that might just be the problem...that's all he hears...to go out there and hit...hit...hit... So he'll look for a hit or a way to slow down someone even if it's not there and take a penalty.

Why don't they just let him go out there and play hockey...which he can actually do...he'll find ways to get involved physically in the flow of the game.

When he first started in Mtl there were no issues with the dumb penalties and stuff like that...he was just asked to go out there an play hockey...now all of a sudden he needs to be a physical force to have a spot...his incentive structure is all out of whack...

Kessel Bozak JVR
Lupul Kadri Clarkson
Kulemin Bolland Raymond.

Very good top 9.
I think the D is a mess.
Goaltending is a wildcard.

- stormeyAlterEgo

D is a mess, goaltending should be fine and if Bernier runs with the #1 it will help our d. He is 10x the puck handler than Reimer
