you do realize when you factor middle aged you do not include the years up to 18?

common misconception. you do not count the growth years.

i dont know why.. it doesnt really make sense.. but thats how it is

I guess we don't live until we're 19?

...which means abortions should be ok until the 80th trimester...

Big club is pretty low on C's, and the Eakins connection makes me think they'd take hm on waivers

Can always waive him again if it doesn't work out

Ok lets be honest...hes not that bad...he doesnt have the room on the Leafs to develop at the NHL level and I think if he can find a young team where he can, he could do well in a year or so.

I think the Leafs could take back a 2nd or 3rd with those two packaged, tbh. Liles is no Komisarek.

It is early, but it looks as if he's regressed - especially his skating and transition. In the Leafs end, Datsyuk would use him as a screen all night long.

Expand...their roster (if you looked) isnt as bad as people seem to think for this year. It will all depend on how well Ramo does and if the team buys into Hartleys systems. Though Im not sure too many fans are hoping for success this year tbh.

if you were the oilers GM.. why wouldnt you wait to see who the leafs expose first?

they have to have their roster set by Monday

The oilers can just leave a roster spot open.. and wait for a centre to go through waivers... snatch them up for free.

Kessel, JVR, Lupul, Clarkson. Who's job does he take?

D isn't bad but Monahan + the bottom six seem a little iffy. Plus Ramo has to come up big as well.

In fairness though, I haven't heard of three of the bottom six and I've only ever seen two of the six play.

could work the other way as well, eakins may have no time for him based on his knowledge.
