I've been thinking about changing my Avatar to a Pokemon. Just have to pick. Not easy. A lot of doozies.
I bought a gamyboy advanced from my buddy and have been playing Pokemon red like the true loser I am

He's on the Leafs because management like many fans dont have faith that Reimer could be a goaltender who takes this team to the next level..

Reimer played well last season but u need better than "well" if u want to be a cup contender..If u wanna win in this league u need ya goaltender to be one of the best if not the best player on ya team..Reimer has to many holes in his game to be that guy imo..

They brought in Bernier as an insurance policy against Reimer's injury history. At this point in time, Reimer has proven more in worse circumstances.

None of this really matters, of course, because Carlyle will go with who's playing best this year. Reimer isn't going down without a fight.

I had an injury last year and picked up a Gold during my time off.

They paid for a 1B with upside. Potential. They didn't expect to be bringing in an anointed #1 starter.

They believe that however this shakes out, they gained a good asset at a fair price. They can always recover what they paid.

Of course they hope Bernier lives up to the hype. It's always a good problem to have too much talent. But if they wanted a sure-fire starter, they would have looked elsewhere.

Plus, don't discount Leiweke's meddling in this. He was clearly the driving force in the decision.

Hell Scrivens was good enough to be a back up..
