What??

He's good... But just not for the money he'll want. And also i think he's too much of a robot sometimes. He doesn't show much emotion sometimes and only lays big hits for a few games at a time. Lupul should be captain. That guy is prime.

I'd honestly rather give it to McClement than Lupul.

I feel one of our young players will grow into being a Captain. Percy has Captain written all over him if he ever becomes a good defenseman.

Phaneuf is decent Captain, as the team gets better he'll look like a better Captain anyways.

I think Ranger will be there by second month of the season and Gunnar would make an excellent second pair or even third if that's where he's going to fit in. I think a top four of:
Phaneuf Ranger
Franson Reilly

Either this year or next Gardnier will get packaged to get a top line center.

I figure Bernier is on the Leafs because Carlyle wanted him...The only way Bernier isn't the #1 this year is if he plays like crap..Doubt that happens..

You ve seen the salaries in the NHL right . I think his cap hit will drop next contract and just stretch the contract out to 7 years so you can justify dropping towards the end thus lowering the cap hit BOOM!!!

I don't feel bad for anyone in the NHL they are in a highly competitive market it's what they wanted and get paid for. Worrying about people feelings got us blue and white disease and now we are changing it.
