leivo exempt too. But holzer, brennan, smith, colborne, bodie are not. I think the biggest lost if claimed would be holzer and colborne surely by edmonton. - Mapleleafs_91
Yes forgot about him being back up. |

I know ashton had a good camp but if we cant find a home for colborne at this moment, we might as well keep him until we do to make room for ashton, there is no rush and would be dumb to let colborne be picked up for free - Mapleleafs_91
I'm hoping the structure of reg season NHL games helps Big Joe a bit. Maybe training camps are just not his thing. At this point I'm afraid I don't care where he goes which is sad really. |

how much CAP relief do the Leafs get if Liles is sent down? I know it isn't the entire CAP hit... maybe 700K? - BorjeFan4Ever
900k.... They may have upped it this year to 950k, but that is what it was last year. |

Nice, No Borolo ??
I sell it for a private store in Halifax, as a hobby.
We have a 2000 Margaux for $125 that is a crazy value right now..
I drink most of my wines from Argentina, chili, Spain and France. Some Cali,
Currently learning about Monastrell from Spain, awesome grape. We are sold out of the Hecula we brought in.. Excellent value. |

Agreed. He looked so much better in those games in the playoffs last year. If he was close to that i don think we're talking about this. |

Maple Leafs GM Dave Nonis said that Morgan Rielly looks ”ready to take a job.” Nonis added that coach Randy Carlyle needs to be comfortable with playing Rielly 12 to 15 minutes a night, ”that’s something we feel is going to happen.”
Okay so lets say rielly makes the team. Liles or fraser will be gone no doubt |

Our store is ranked #17 in Canada, ahead of the Port of Wines ( NSLC owned ) We have a far better selection under $35 than anyone in the Maritimes. |

If Reilly makes it... I think is Gunnarson who is on the outs. But that would be on the outs from a top minutes perspective.. he would slide down the depth chart.
Liles is already done.
Going to be very interesting, we're going to see how much of a gambler Mr Nonis is...

I agree with this.
Demoting veteran nhler's to the ahl for poor play is reasonable.
Demoting veteran nhler's to the ahl because of management's cap issues is not reasonable thing to do. |

since we're talking CAP management... here's a hypothetical, which might present the Leafs with some short term CAP relief.
Clarkson starts his suspension from the 1st game of regular season - and becasue he's suspended - the Leafs do not get CAP relief.
Hypothetically, Clarkson is injured in the next pre-season game - and has to go on the long term injured reserve. In keeping with the excellent rule about serving a ten game suspension during the regular season only, what would happen in this situation?
and don't all the Habs/Sens/Sabres fans try and tell me there's a rule that covers this. - BorjeFan4Ever
You can't put a suspended player in IR.
