Tonight they have a skeleton crew playing, but the last game against the Devils they were playing an almost full roster, and it looked just like the 2012 playoffs. The Flyers had an awful transition game that was easy for the Devils to disrupt that stymied them at 5 on 5 and the Flyers seemed to have no answer for it, yet again.

Granted, it's pre-season and the players are likely not going full speed yet. That said, it's a concern

First goal was an odd man rush from the blue line in, one defenseman slid to prevent the cross ice pass...the 2nd one, every Flyers skater was on the left wing boards and Steve Bernier was all alone in front. Mason made first stop, but Bernier made a good deke and got it past him on the rebound.

Didn't see the third goal, just that Larsson got it.

I know it's only preseason, but I think we should tear up the team. YES, that includes trading Richards and Carter.

I've seen teams dominating the preseason, and the fall apart after a few games in the regular season, and vice verse. Won't put too much emphasis on this game, except that we suck against the devils. Luckily we play them fewer times than previous seasons (right?).

I didn't see the scoring change...I'm much less concerned about tonight..they were dressing the B team to get guys another look...not a big deal, just didn't look good at all.

True. But I'm hoping that Pens, Islanders, Caps and Hurricane matchups will continue to favor the Flyers. And hopefully Rangers won't play Torts-hockey anymore and that BJs are manageable.

Was it Devils and Islanders the Flyers would play one extra time compared to the others or am I remembering it wrong?
