maybe kessel should of just manned the (frank) up and taken a couple of shots.. he's 6 foot 200lbs.. he isnt exactly little.

I think part of it is Kessel telling people in the league to (frank) off, that's had about enough - good on him for sticking up for himself by whatever means necessary. He manned up and dropped the gloves when the 2 other guys came at him - you know the 2 that were at least close this weight class.

A guy Scott's size great really do a lot of damage to an unexperienced fighter. A doughy 200 pounds is tiny compared to a built 270.

I think that's easier said than done. Especially in the heat of an NHL game...these guys are jacked up.

Do I agree with the second slash...no. Has Kessel said it was a mistake..yes.

I tend to agree.
i think the extra wack and "Push" were weasel-ey and wish he didnt do them. But considering the result (3 meaningless games).. I would rather that and put up with the comments about how kessel near killed everyone in the building than the dozens of pictures and gifs of Kessel in his shell that would never end

Most of the NHL'ers around the league that they interviewed after said they would have done the same thing as Kessel- a couple said there is no way they would drop their stick with that behemoth coming at them.
