In a non-gay way I like this guy. Adds another east of Winnipeg element.
Also there is nothing wrong with being gay, but only laughs gets the gay like feelings. |

Joey Moss was the best wing man the Oilers ever had. |

Anyone else get the impression the Eskimos gave him those two cheerleaders the other night for his birthday? |

jones has been playing noticeably worse, I'm not surprised by this move based on the play of the others in training camp, but it is still unfortunate because he is a great guy to have in the locker room.
it seems the main reason for some players being sent down and not others is the contracts, some have one-way deals and some have two-way deals. |

don't see much of that case for edm. unlike for ex. blues, allen is playing better than halak and elliott, but he has a two-way, so he gets booted down. nurse has impressed, but it's wise to send him down regardless how well he plays for more development. |

I still think Schultz gets the short end of the stick. Curious to see what he does this year. - Lahey
I think last year was an adjustment period too. He's not a young single guy and he had to move his whole family last year and so on and so forth.
I'm just saying we've got options if he's still not working out. |

Crazy 'what if' of the day:
What if we made a deal surrounding Oskar Klefbom for Derek Stepan?
Oilers could use a top 6 centre now and a two-way guy in the go-ahead. Rangers have a ton of players up for new contracts next year and though they've got a great defense, rumours of Marc Staal wanting to move have been swirling ever since Jordan was traded. Losing Klefbom hurts, but at least at this moment he appears to be behind Nurse in development. We'd still have the rights to Schultz, Smid, Ference, Petry and Larsen next off-season. - Morris
Love it. Seriously Nurse is the future of our D, not Klefbom. J Shcultz,Marincin, Smid and Petry...pretty good top five in upcoming seasons. Why not? Problem is, Slays ain't gonna trade him. He's playing hardball like an old school GM, and he always wins. Just ask Smytty how negotiations went in the late 90's. |

good call
I know its just pre season but did anyone call Joensu? - Killbot460
I did some some reaearch after Clouts gave us his detailed scouting report on him ( "meh"). Some posters out East said he could be a force. He had a bit of a rough time with injuries and went to Europe for a bit but he definitely looked interesting. I liked how Mac T described him as similar to Hartikaonen but with stronger puck skills. So far so good. |

Things aren't looking good for PRV. Went out and added Morrow who plays same wing as him. - Lahey
Oilers should pick him on waivers. |
