No, Hall will center Smyth and Hemsky to start the season. Yak is much more effective on his off wing. Once RNH/Gags are back, Arcobello goes back to the Barons, Smyth and Hemmer shuffle down, Hall back to LW.

He's a stopgap for now. He'll be sent down once we're healthy.

Oilers could use a top 6 centre now and a two-way guy in the go-ahead. Rangers have a ton of players up for new contracts next year and though they've got a great defense, rumours of Marc Staal wanting to move have been swirling ever since Jordan was traded. Losing Klefbom hurts, but at least at this moment he appears to be behind Nurse in development. We'd still have the rights to Schultz, Smid, Ference, Petry and Larsen next off-season.

There is no way that a guy with no pro hockey experience gets a backup job in the NHL. He couldn't even get a NHL contract at this point. Kid has potential but a few pre-season games doesn't mean much when it comes to deciding goaltending for the NHL.

I think Stepan is quite overrated and if we are trading one of our best prospects I rather go for a d-man. With that being said if there was a way to unload Hemsky in a separate move I could be on board with this.

I don't troll, it gets me nowhere. I'm heavily involved in fantasy hockey so I watch the game and its players like a stock analyst would watch stocks. Likewise, if I troll your blogs or other teams blogs, I'd be burning bridges, and rob myself of valuable fan information.

Moreover, while I'm a Leaf fan, I also like the Oilers and Predators in the west.

Jones is doing fine in Nashville. I liken him to Hedman in that he has all the attributes and then some from a big man, and he's already NHL ready, but there will be some major growing pains before he realizes his full potential. He's not as good a skater as Hedman, but more physical, and more physically filled out if that makes sense.
