It's because he has the potential to be twice the player Gretzky ever was.

And he talks like Pedro.

The Oilers wouldn't have even made the playoffs back in the day if it weren't for this god...

I know, he's a douche...

In other news, it would appear that Fulton from the Mighty Duck's movies is a time traveler

To bad about Jonesy.....I liked his loose cannon style of play before the lockout. Hopefully, nobody grabs him off the waiver wire and he gets his sh1t back togeather and at the very least become a tradeable asset if there's no room for him here.

Nurse is going to be a big part of some very good Oiler teams over the next decade. He impressed the poop out of me.

So only 1 more cut left?
I recall the play by play guys mentioning they had 6 more to go at the start of last nights game.

I don't think any have to go. Potter and Grebs to IR fixed d problem. 14 forwards up front.

He's more skilled and flashy than i thought.
From his scouting report and hearing he was a 'shutdown' guy, i thought he was gonna be a physical, but quiet and raw defender.

He's much more than that.

He's the best prospect we currently have

Astonishingly bad bottom 6 right now, especially considering MacT wanted to improve on what he'd identified as a real failing in Tambo's Oilers.

However, our beat-up bottom 6 of

Joensuu-Arcobello-Hamilton
Brown-Acton-Eager

is a lot different that if we're healthy and have Gordon, Hemsky and Smyth in the mix.

Jones is a casualty of a numbers game considering we needed to call up two centres.

Yost keeps pitching Stephane da Costa to the Oilers for a "soft pick", but is Da Costa that much different from Arcobello? If the Sens are ditching someone, the Oilers would be more interested in Smith I think.

Except Yak is suppose to be on the third line and Arcobello is probably top 6.

Jeosnsuu-Gordon-Yak
Brown-Acton-Eager

Not exactly horrid. The bigger issue is Smyth and Arocbello in the top 6.

Murse ~ It was the right decision, but damn... It had to be a tough decision -- He's exactly what we need.

After seeing Acrobello and Perron's chemistry last night I would say leave him on the 2nd line. Gordon on 3rd line C and Acton for 4th

What?! Clouts had Klefbom already penciled in to the top 4 as early as last season! How is this possible?!
- MnGump

Sooo go on his facebook page, or wait for his new website to start up to go troll him. You are coming to a Matt Henderson blog to talk about what clouts said???

I was hoping they would keep him up for the 9 games before sending him back to the OHL. Nurse wears my favourite number, 74! this kid is going to be great.

He'll be up next year, his game is further along then almost all the d-men taken in the last two drafts. The exceptions might be Trouba, Jones and Lindholm.

I haven't heard much about Jones during this preseason. How has he done? I know the Jets are in major man-love with Trouba and Lindholm has been performing well. It's quite nice to see all of this years draft picks being returned to the minors for another season at least. Time's are progressing!

Also, nice to see a leaf's fan that isn't here trolling.
