Kinda think Lander dropped the ball. Maybe the coaches expected too much, but I thought he would have improved a lot.
I could see him being moved. |

I don't understand why we signed Omark, Grebeshkov or Jones at all? Many teams invite players to a tryout without giving them a contract. With the way Jones played last year, we knew he was a risk. If he turned us down, we could have found someone else in early July. The list was large then. Nobody was knocking on Grebeshkov's door. Omark would have come for training because he might have had a chance with someone else next year. This was his way back in.
I just know that this is all being done so we are stuck with the sub par Hamilton that our Rookie coach is probably dating. You hear him talk about this guy. He is getting top line minutes in some preseason games.
So as predicted we find ourselves with no cap room, two of our top 6 injured, no 1-2 dmen, a back up goalie that is living up to his career 3.00 GAA and a bunch of useless players. So the best idea is to move our slowest player to the top line with our best and fastest player. Pairing Smyth and Hall seems like the most well thought out idea in the history of hockey. An idea that could only come from Lowe.
We are talking third line improvement. I am sorry. At this point we are needing Thomas Vanek. To do so it is going to cost us some of our better d prospects. Maybe even a first round pick. Then they would have to take on Hemsky's salary. Or Nick Schultz and a couple of others to bring us in range. THAT is the type of help we need or by the time RNH comes back, the season could be done for us. I know it is November he comes back but remember that the season misses most of a month in the middle so games are condensed on both sides. Plus we don't know if he will come back at full pace to begin with. |

Steinley...you sure like to complain an awful lot don't you? I think Smyth is doing quite well on Halls line. Hall is doing well also.
When you make comments suggesting Eakins is dating Hamilton you sound like an unfunny 11 yr old.
Now, Mac T is responsible for the personnel , not Lowe. You need to figure that out.
Thomas Vanek as a 3rd line winger? I think we need a Center slightly more.

I don't givwe a poop about what Chik-fil-A says or does, their food is awesomely delicious. It's my favorite thing to eat when I travel to the South. I can't wait to get it when I'm down in NOLA for Mardi Gras this year! |

those two are gritty and physical vs porter and cracknell. sobotka is good, reaves is a bigger fellow. edm would have mac, eager, and brown. sobotka can play centre too if need be, i vote for him. it would cost a pick or prospect. blues don't want roster player back. - deks1
Sobotka always figures into my capgeek tinkering. He's one of my favs.
Kulemin-Sobotka-Yakupov would be a ballin 3rd line.

I think last year was an adjustment period too. He's not a young single guy and he had to move his whole family last year and so on and so forth.
I'm just saying we've got options if he's still not working out. - Morris

read blues may look to trade for some cap room. sobotka, cracknell, reaves, or porter? most likely bottom 6 players to trade out to make room for morrow. - deks1
Reaves isn't going anywhere according to Strickland. My money is on Cracknell. Reaves, Porter and Cracknell get hyped a lot, but they aren't that great. They play on a team that plays a real good system and it doesn't matter who is on their 4th. If you have 3 real good lines that's usually what happens. STL could lose all 3 of those guys and somehow they wouldn't skip a beat. |
