Man you got to come back to reality. Outside of Wilson, whose there to be a top guy?

Friggin Leggy?
Smith? Hell be gone before season is over

Our real hopes for top line guys are Horny, Willy, Borq and Stal.

Im hoping Wilson comes through as a good player and sticks around. He was having a great season last year before getting hurt.

If you guys don't like Smith, can we have him? What's the knock on him, he was always exciting when I watched him, does he play poor defense or something? (no sarcasm intended, I really haven't watched him enough)

After a stellar rookie half season, he's disappeared. We get flashes now and then and then nothing. Then overseas stardom, then nothing. All the fans and management up and down the chain keep hoping he'll break out for good before we have to give up on him. At least that's what I've seen.

Back to reality? Here is the reality...Wilson has yet to prove that he is ready to be the top guy. Sure he played pretty well in the 25 games he played last year...is that really a big enough sample to call him a 1st liner? The guy has missed 47 games due to injury in the past two years and has been inconsistent when he has been healthy. He certainly has flashes of being dominant...but he disappears far too often.

I am not saying that any of the options are any better...I just cannot sit here and say that Wilson should be relied on as a 1st liner...not yet at least.

I don't think he disappeared much in the time he played last year. He's always driving to the net or feeding someone that's in position, something that most on the team didn't do. He's great at making things happen.
