I understand but that's still absurd to make that comment. So many struggling markets would love their star power to sell tickets. If Phoenix, for example, wouldn't trade Yandle, OEL, and Vrbata for the Sedins and Kesler they're even dumber than the idea of hosting a hockey team in the southern desert.

Florida need a winning team ASAP for the franchise's sake, hence why they picked up TT. Marquee players are worth their weight in gold (and box office revenue). Only Canadians drool at the potential of young players in their lineup. In hockey markets that are rather indifferent about their local team, the more star power in their teams the better.

It's a good topic and I'm not disagreeing with the general sentiment. What I am disagreeing with is that literally no team in the league would trade their top 3 for our top 3.
